Hrant Manuelian, CPA @ Liberty Tax Service I am single & "was" unemployed in 2014. He charged me $460! OVER 7+ TIMES my previous filing fees! I called him back & he said he would return ALL of my money in full when my refund arrived in 3 weeks. I contacted his office 8 times & he still has NOT returned my money. His office is now vacant & no one answers the phone anymore. Westminster California
Hrant Manuelian at Liberty Tax charged me $460 to file my relatively simple & straight-forward 2014 tax form! That is nearly 8 times my previous filing fees. (I am single & was unemployed during the 2014 year)! (I found out this exorbinate fee might be appropriate from a high profile tax preparer with a complicated return).
I called Mr. Manuelian back & he said he would return all my money to me when my refund arrived back at his office in 21 days. I repeatedly called his office & was reassured my check would be in the mail the following day. After 8 phone calls & messages, I went to his office & he had moved. No one answers the phone now or returns messages.
He is a crook. I would not reccommend him to anyone. He owes me my filing fee back!
