HRS Accounting Practices Rip Off Customers

On January 10, 2002, I submitted a payment in full for a specified account with HRS - currently have 2 accounts. First of all, the payment was not made into the account until Jan 18, then, instead of paying the first account in full (which was due on Jan 18), HRS applied the minimum amount to the first account. What this did was accrue additional finance charges on the first account even though it should have been paid in full. The second account is an interest free account, so applying the balance of the large payment on the first account did not have any interest effect.

This is a clear indication of accounting fraud towards their customers. By clearly indicating on our correspondence what account the monies are to be applied to and then receiving subsequent bills of finance charges is a complete ripoff. Why don't we investigate their practice. How many day of float time can they continue to claim when people mail in their bills????
