I have an account with this company and have never had any trouble with late fees. When I first got my account I assumed I could pay it at Best Buy. When I found out that they didn't take in-store payments I called the 800 number on the bill and explained my situation to the customer service representitive.

She was very nice and assured me there wouldn't be any late fees as long as i mailed my payment within a few days.

A few months later I returned form a vacation to discover my payment hadn't been mailed before I left and it was about a week late. I again called customer service and explained my problem and the lady was very cheerful and reversed the late charges.

I think the key to dealing with customer service is to be nice. I'm sure these people have to deal with customers calling them and screaming atthem about late fees and such and when they encounter a reasonable, friendly person they are much more willing to help that person than the one that is maen to them. Try a little honey, sugar!
