HSBC Auto Finance ripoff San Diego California
This loan for my car was made at a high rate of interest because I had less then good credit. I have been paying on it for almost three years now. I purchase a 2000 Malibu and when I am done paying the loan I will have payed $19,500 for a used car.
When I call and ask if I can lower the interest payments or rewrite the loan I am told there are restrictions on this account but I am not allowed to know why. I pay $305 a month for this loan. If I ask if I can get any help with this loan I am told no you must pay as agreeded. I believe I payed to much for this car and I like to know why I have restrictions that say I cannot reduce interest or rewrite the loan.

Here is what I have done. I went online to the Missouri Attorney Generals office and filed a complaint on this company. I have had my loan for 3 and 1/2 years now, never late once and they refuse to refinance me at a lower rate. Excuse after excuse is all I get. They get you locked in at the high rate and dont want to change it. File a complaint on the company with your Attorney Generals Office. I am hoping enough complaints will come in that they do something about the company.
