Ok first of all this company advertises their lenses as "quality daily lenses for less”. They offer you your first 7 days free. What they don’t tell you, is that they actually charge your card $34 within 1-2 days after receiving your trial box. So you really don’t get a chance to try them out or change your mind - there’s a reason for that. When I received my monthly box, the quality of the lenses differed immensely from the trial product. It only took about 5-6 days before my eyes starting getting dry, red, inflamed, and painful. After about a week of wearing these lenses, I was relaxing at home with my mom who was over visiting. As we were watching TV, she looked over at me in shock and said "oh my god Mija! Your eyes are bleeding!” I quickly ran to the mirror and nearly fainted at the monster looking back at me. It was like a horror movie. My eyes were blood red! I had never seen anything like it in my life. I tried to remove the lenses and the pain was so intense I was screaming. My mom begged me to go to the hospital but after copious amounts of medicated drops and pain killers, I was finally able to bite the bullet and remove them. The pain was so severe, I could feel it even back near my eye sockets.

After removing them, I was able to sleep off the pain/redness and returned to somewhat normal the next day. I still haven’t been able to wear my normal contact lenses (not Hubble) or even mascara because my eyes are hypersensitive 10 days later. So I contacted Hubble, by phone and by email, to try and get a refund for the $34 they charged me after this terrible experience. Automated response was the best I got. Shortly after contacting them, they charged me yet again! Before my month was even up!!! Another $34... There has been no way of getting ahold of them to cancel my subscription or receive my money back. I contacted my eye doctor who told me I could have permanently lost my vision had it persisted. I would say that’s pretty d**n serious. I guess Hubble doesn’t even care because they have made no attempt to get in touch with me to resolve this issue.

After hours of research, I finally found out that Hubble uses a terrible, outdated material in their contacts that most reputable brands discontinued using as of the early 2000s! Basically, this material allows little or no oxygen to the eye. "High quality lenses for less” ... yeah right Hubble!!! This company is full of crooks and con artists in some distant Asian country. They barely speak English! Not ok! I am completely outraged by this company after my traumatic experience. Hubble’s lack of communication and complete neglect for their customers optic health is unspeakable. Apparently, I am not the only one who has suffered as a result of their false advertising and poor quality contact lenses. Check out their C rating on BBB, full of complaints and reviews just like mine. Absolutely pathetic. I am just a person who suffers from bad vision whom depends on conact lenses to drive, work, and perform daily activities. I, like many others, felt optimistic about receiving contact lenses at a discounted price and trusted their "promise of quality”. Buyer beware! Do not fall for the hype. These lenses will ruin your eyes like they did mine. I’m using glasses from now on because I’m afraid to wear contacts after this bloody battle my eyes had with Hubble lenses.

I had no problem with contacts in the past but now, my eyes can’t handle even the premium quality lenses that cost $70 per pack, the same ones I used for years prior to this. I could, and probably should, be taking legal action against this company. I’m sure dozens, if not hundreds, of attorneys would love to get their hands on a fat class action settlement against Hubble contacts. I mean, the grounds for lawsuit goes on and on: pain and suffering, mental anguish, long term eye damage & hypersensitivity, extra visits to the eye doctor, etc... prepare to pay more than the $34 for these lenses because you will suffer! Especially if you’re eyes are already sensitive. Also, prepare to have worse vision than before as a result. It’s truly despicable. Oh, and if you try to cancel, good luck! Their Philosophy is: once you sign up, you’re screwed! I want to raise awareness about this illegitimate company, to warn optometrists and patrons alike. This company is not ethical and is not to be trusted. I hope they give me my money back and stop charging me but I’m feeling extremely doubtful of that. So if you’re considering signing up for the free trial...don’t! It’s not a free trial at all. No opportunity to cancel. Don’t even romance the idea of getting these cheap contact lenses. Stick to your brand... or you might regret it like I do.
