Hudson Toyota misguided information on leasing a car Jersey City New Jersey
Sales person at this company gave me wrong information about leasing a car which then led me into a trap of having to buy a car from their company or having my credit ruined for 15 years. He had told me that I am able to test drive a car for one day and if I didn't like it then I can return it the next day with no questions asked. When I went back the next day to return the car, only to find out the paper he had made me sign to test drive it was actually a trap into having to buy a car from their company. If not the car that I test drove, then any other car that they had in their lot. Unfortunately I am in this trap now and will be spending tremendous amount of money investing in a car that I do not want. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER. DO NOT BUY ANY VEHICLES FROM THEM. DO NOT LEASE ANY VEHICLES FROM THEM. AVOID BEING SCAMED AS I WAS.

Your story is not that surprising. In the last 25 yrs., I have yet to do business at a car dealership that didn't try to pull a fast one at some point during the transaction. It's the nature of the business. You have to walk into a dealership like they are out to get your last penny,,,because they are. I was in the car business for a short time, but I couldn't put up with the scamming and the tricks.
Read everything you sign. The saleseman or finance guy will try to explain it and get you to sign right away without reading. This is where 90% of people get taken. Just sit there and take your time. If it's not in plain enough language for you to understand exactly what it means, don't sign it.
