I had Hughesnet installed 12-11-06. Tech installed tested and told me speed would pick up after it finished downloading files. I did all kinds of speed test, to no avail. I called Tech Support and went through evry step .Transferred to tier 4 Tech support and waited 3 days for them to call. Was told by Tier 4 Tech support nothing more they could do. Speed is 650 down 40 up.Tried to cancel service since 30 days not up. Hughesnet told me that I would have to go to direct dealer where it was purchased, McDish LLC. I called them and they refuse to return money I paid for it $571.00. Then offered me $200 as a refund. He sent Tech back out to check dish. He reset cross pol, tested it. speed was 450 down 120 up. 2 minutes after he left it fell back down to 358 down 39 up. Called Hughes back put on hold then hung up on. Any suggestions?

After many attempts to get this issue resolved I was switched to different frequency and it corrected slow upload speed. Many of thier frequencies are congested. I would reccomend harassing tech support until they change your frequency to correct slow upload speeds.
