Hughesnet high costs for crappy service and low/capped service pacakges Internet
I moved to an area that is only serviceable by Hughesnet.com I was looking through their pacakges and was appalled by their pricing for less than satisfactory package deals...
40$ for 250mb (can't even watch youtube, netflix, or hulu... or games from steam)
79$ for 350mb (still can't watch youtube videos, download files or games from steam)
109$ for 450mb (can barely watch youtube, download files, or games on steam, or updates to my MMO)
All i really have to say is the amount of complaints I've read about crappy service (which they postponed or lost my installation a few times already, and have been rude to me on the phone saying it was my fault I didn't order the installation correctly, seriously?
It time for them to upgrade their packages - LIFT the download allowance, and stop lying about "blazing speeds" that really only result in dial up speeds during peak hours, and look at what other satellite companies are doing...Like centurylink - who has it right!! sadly they are not available in my area.... yet.
