DON'T use this company. A few weeks ago the property manager at my place of work hired 'Humane Animal Removal' to remove some cats. The guy that came out to trap them, we told him specifically that there is a lactating female cat that just given birth a couple of days before and to please not trap her because otherwise her babies will die. We even told him, to give us a few days to try to locate the babies before he traps her. The guy didn't care and was rude to us. He trapped the lactating mother along with several other cats and took them to 'Miami Dade County Animal Services' to get euthanized. When he trapped her she was crying non-stop because of her babies, while me and my friend were standing and watching helpless in tears. After he left, it took us over 24 hours to locate the babies. When we finally found them, 1 was already dead, and the 3 other surviving ones we quickly rushed to the vet. At the vet we were told the 3 kittens were suffering from malnutrition and dehydration because they were separated from their mother for too long at a very young age. The vet also confirmed the 3 surviving kittens were less than a week old, their eyes havent even opened yet. One of the kittens has already been 4 days at the vet on ivs, and we were told its chances of survival were less than 50/50. The other 2 we took home and we have to feed them with a special bottle. We contacted Humane Animal Removal to see if they can change their policy concerning lactating female cats to avert a tragedy such as this from reoccurring in the future, and they aggressively told us there was nothing they can do about it and hung up on us. Because its obvious they are all about the money. Don't use this company!!!!! Spay and neuter instead, its more effective, there are plenty of low cost sterilization places for cats ranging in prices between $25-$40. And by doing so you will keep the feline population from reproducing, and thus these n**i butchers (aka Humane Animal Removal) wont get called out to murder more cats.

Lies, Lies, and More Lies

First of all when you guys came out it was actually on my day off, the property manager coordinated it like that so I wouldnt get wind of it, but luckily one of my coworkers called me and notified me, and I rushed over there. I had NO IDEA you guys were going to come out, and I had no idea that my property manager was planning on having all the cats removed. And I was never told by anyone that I could go and adopt that feral mother cat within 5 days, so stop lying!
Either stop making up lies or either you're confusing me with someone else! The previous property manager didn't care if we fed, but the new one was the one who had issues with it and who called you guys to come out. AND WE 'WERE' SPAYING AND NEUTERING THEM, even the new property manager was aware of it but he didn't care, we even mentioned to your trapper that a few of them had eartips. But before you guys came out there were only a few remaining unsterilized feral cats (including that nursing mother). But since we only possesed 1 trap, so therefore we were catching them one at a time. Also post surgery males require 24 hrs of recuperation and females 72 hrs before releasing them back out, and in addition to the fact that I also have a small apt and I could only look after 1 cat at a time, thus we were limited to doing only 1-2 cats per week. We been at it for 2 months before you guys came out and laid out a sh*t load of traps.
And kittens which are a few days old require feeding once every 2 hrs. The day before you guys came out we were traping and that lactating mother actually started walking towards our trap and we had to shu her away because we wanted to wait until her kittens were at least 6 weeks old, and eating solid food on their own, before we trapped her. But then you guys came out the next day and trapped her for the sole reason that you guys are a money making business!!!

Since you are trying to say that our company is a "n**i Butcher" I feel that it only right that I set the record straight. First, we were hired to remove all cats. You are an employee that even being told not to feed them you continued. You could have had the cats trapped and sterilized but you decided that you didn't have the time. We did exactly as we were contracted to do. The animals were taken to Animal Svc's where if you wanted to, you could have gone and adopted the mother cat out (she was held for 5 days), you did not.

You then threatened legal action against us. I'm sure your attorney told you "Uh, ma'am, they are allowed to trap the cats". We do everything according to the law here in Dade Co.

If I understand right, you were even warned by your boss that the cats were going to be trapped but like everyone else, you chose to ignore the problem.

As far as one of the kittens dying, there's no way a kitten dies with 24 hrs from not being fed by the mother. The truth of the matter is that most feral cats do not have large litters that survive, it's just a fact of nature.

Humane Animal Removal works whenever possible with people that want the animals sterilized but in this case, they did NOT want that, they wanted them off the property.
