Huntington Bank excessive and illegal fees Ripoff Columbus Ohio
They changed their fee schedule on their checking accounts to include a daily charge of $6 if you are overdrawn. This charge is charge even if the bank is closed.
Because of this and other new fees they were able to take out over $400 out of my account when it was NOT my fault that it was overdrawn.
Remove your money from this bank before they find a was to make your account go overdrawn and start charging you $6 dollars a day.

predatory maybe but not illegal.
Many banks are starting to include this daily overdraft fee on their accounts. Before opening a new account elsewhere make sure to obtain a copy of the banks terms and conditions, whether online or from a branch.
If you can show to the bank that the overdraft was their fault, they should refund those fees. If you suspect fraud, then you should file a fraud claim for those transactions, the bank should refund those fees provisionally while your claim is investigated. If the debit was submitted to your bank incorrectly by a merchant, then you should seek reimbursement of your fees from them.
Good luck.
