I bought a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire from kardepo.net at their physical location in Garden Grove California with just over 31k miles on it. You don't want to buy from those folks. They are very deceptive on their warranty terms. I drove the car for less than two weeks and the transmission started jerking as it shifted. I took the car back to Kar Depo and they offered to buy me a transmission shift module claiming I could put it in myself. I then called Chrysler Corp to see if the drive train warranty was transferable and it was. I then went to Huntington Beach Chrysler, wrote them a check for $150.00 to transfer the warranty and scheduled an appointment for early the next morning. The very next morning I dropped the car off and went to work. Earl was the service writer. At the end of the day I called Earl to see what they had found out and he said they had not checked it out yet. Three days go by and I still have not heard from Earl so I call back. He says the transmission and torque converter had coolant in them. "The cooling line fitting for the transmission had leaked internally", he said. He told me they had to dismantle the transmission, clean it out and replace the torque converter. So that I don't bore you, let me just say Huntington Beach Chrysler had my car for three weeks and I still had not heard from them. Each and every time I received an update I had to call for it. After three weeks in their service bay they call and say the car is ready to be picked up. I now head out to pick up my Crossfire and when I get there the gal at the service desk refuses my personal check. With the help of the manager I get them to accept it. For the record Huntington Beach Chrysler never once offered me a rental car during those three weeks. Ok, I pick up the car and drive it home. I jumped in the car the next morning and head to work. At the end of the day I jump in the car to head home but never made it. The transmission separated / disengaged from the engine less than a half a mile from my work and I had to pay a tow truck to get it to the dealer again. This time I insisted they give me a rental as I was fed up riding the Harley in the rain. They rented me an automobile that that was not any where near the caliber of my Crossfire. A total embarrassment but I drove it anyways. Three days had gone by now and I still had not heard from Earl so I called. He is now telling me they are not sure what is wrong with the car. I ask to talk to the service manager. Service manager says that my torque converter had arrived (what???.....I thought they had already put it in) and that the car would be done in a day. As it turns out one month later to the day, $150 to transfer warranty, plus $110 deductible, plus $150 to tow it back to the dealer (and I had to still make my monthly car payment and insurance) a ton of lies and aggravation the car was STILL not repaired. After I got the car back at the end of the month stay at the dealer it started making a grinding sound. I decided it was time to bring another dealer into the equation so I called Don-A-Vee Chrysler in Placentia California. They said bring it in. I did and they knew right away what was wrong with the car. They have had the car a week and I am picking it up Wednesday. It needed a new transmission and pump. I will be paying them a $110 deductible but well worth it. Bottom line?? Huntington Beach Chrysler SCREWED ME!!!

Don-A-Vee Chrysler Jeep Took Very Good Care Of Me

I must say, paying the deductable the second time REALLY bites, BUT well worth every penny. Don-A-Vee Chrysler Jeep in Orange County California kept their commitment to me and treated me like royalty. Crossfire runs nice and was done when promised. If you own a Chrysler or Jeep they are the folks for you. Ask for Dennis in Service and tell him Wes Howell sent you. Dennis, I can never thank you enough. As for Huntington Beach Chrysler Jeep, well they suck so bad I devoted and entire site to them.
Rip Off Report ROCKS!!!
Let me know where I can send a small token of my appreciation to help support the cause.

Just for clearification. I had to pay the warranty drive train deductable TWICE now. Once to Huntington Beach Chrysler and once to the new dealer. Total out of pocket expenses not including my $340.00 car payment and $80.00 monthly insurance payment ( I did not get to drive the car for a whole month) has been $520.00 Thanks Huntington Beach Chrysler for screwing me!!!
