Complaint Review: Huntington Prize Reports

Huntington Prize Reports My, imaginary, $1,900,000.00 sweepstakes prize. Westbury New York

I received one of the (in)famous "Win-Opportunity Notification of Available Cash and Awards Totaling: $1,900,000.00." I could collect my winnings by completing some paperwork and sending $19.95 "report fee." Signature at the bottom of the letter read, "Gerald Huntington, President."

I knew it was a scam. In the first place, no legitimate sweepstakes charges money to award their prizes. In the second place, the only sweepstakes I ever enter notifies its winners by either showing up at the winner's door, if the prize is huge, or if the prize is less than $10,000.00, via a registered letter directly from the company (not a third party), delivered by FedEx.

People who prey upon gullible and/or desperate people are vicious monsters. I hope "Gerald Huntington" and his cohorts will get caught, soon, and rot in jail!
