I ordered hardwood by phone and was told I should receive it the next week. It turned out it was not in stock and I was asked if I want to cancel my order the next day. I decided to cancel. I was confirmed that my money will be put back on my CC (they already charged the CC although not having it in stock!!!). After another request, they finally refunded $27.56 less than what I was charged for. On the credit it showed: "refund for floor minus transaction costs". I complained and the owner Craig Hurst replied: "You chose to use a form of payment whereby the credit card co. charges for. I am not going into the negative because of that." and finally "We pay about $150,000.00 a year in credit card fees. I am deeply concerned about that.". Hey Craig, you did not have it in stock although I was told otherwise. Are you nuts? I disputed with Amex and filed a BBB complaint. I would have reommended this company because of a prior experience but now I realize its a complete RIPOFF!

Alex is right. He should have been refunded the credit card cost. We ran the card based on believing the flooring would come in on time and when it did not that was not for Alex to pay for. We sent him the refund.
