Buyer beware when doing business with Adam's Hot Rod Rubber out of Oregon City.  When we were refered to this company by a well known speedshop, and saving money, we were happy. One of the projects we have been working on is a 1940 Chevy Gasser, and the time has come to put some rubber on it. We wanted   white walled cheater slicks without the big price and found Adam's Hot Rod Rubber, and a bumb tire.  We contacted the speedshop. they no longer carry this tire.  We contacted the manufacturer, and Cody, the son told us to "take it out and flog it a couple times, it'll straighten it out".  Hello, it's winter in Indiana.

Steve's second remedy was to mail us a 5oz. patch to glue inside the tire to counterbalance the weight.  The third time we contacted the manufacturer, we were told "it's your tire" and he refused to make good on his product. The only way he would credit us our money back was to return the other tire to him, at another shipping fee of $60.00,  he would try to re-sell them, and when he did he would refund our money. He would not send us a new tire!

It took an additional 8.5oz of weight to even get close to balancing this tire, and to be honest. we're afraid to use it. If you need rubber for your hotrod, spend that extra money. We've spent it in shipping and still need rubber for our car.
