I went to Hutto Fast Lube for the first time and will not be going back. It was utterly chaotic. No one had put oil in the car in front of mine until AFTER it had been started and the dipstick checked. I understand that happens and that's why they chech it. However, I watched them on my car and the same thing happened! When they said they were going to start it, I went out and told them they forgot the oil. When I approached the owner, he was too busy talking on his cell phone to talk to me. They were more concerned with the tire business and not paying attention to the oil changes. I was hoping for a local to do business with, but this one willnot be it.

To the Author of the report filed, Thank you for letting me know that our process of checking and double checking was working.  As you said in your report we were chaotic and that happens, but we ask to see if we are ready to start before starting.  The report states that the same thing happened to your car, but you caught it before it happened.  So, it did not happen and asking and double checking worked?  Your car was not started without oil?

Also, if I am on the cell phone, I will always stop talking on the phone to take care of any customer.  We sell the customer service that goes along with vehicle maintenance.  This is the only way to differentiate ourselves from the national chain stores.

I will apologize for the mistakes.  I am glad you were concerned enough with your car to keep an eye out. More customers should take care of their cars the way it appears you do.

When there are more than 4 cars and only 3 or 4 employees and one is doing tire service, and one inspection and one oil changes, there is a need for communication and I appreciate you reminding me of that.  There is no excuse for me to not talk to you about it, but we do need to slow down and remember the basics.

As for the service, we have numerous customers that would love to give their positive experience.  There are always mistakes in this business.  We try to eliminate the mistakes through communication. 

We are a local business.  We do pride ourselves on the fact that we are local.  Come back and give us another chance to do right by you, or drop by and let me know how I can assist you better myself.  I will do your oil change myself and make right by you. I obviously cannot fix the last one, but I can make sure that all future interactions are positive.
