Complaint Review: Hydro-gen

I had purchased the hydro-gen generator online. It is a product you install on your vehicle that is suppose to produce hydrogen gas that goes through your carb. and is suppose to save on gas consumption. I had purchased this online about the same time a friend of mine got his generator. I put the product in my closet and waited till my friend installed his and started to use it. He had a mechanic install his on his chevy p/u. After a few days of use, he started having major problems with his engine. He had the mechanic take a look. It seems that the unit forced alot of moisture and condensation into the carb. This burnt out the electrodes in his computer system and he could not start his truck. There is a little more to what happened, but I'm not quite sure. After being aware of this, of course I was not going to install this in my vehicle. I contacted the company to see if io could get refund. I thought surely it would be no problem since I did not even open the box. When I talked to the owner, ( Scott Mitchell), He thought I was crazy for thinking that I could get a refund. He was also VERY VERY rude to me and sent me some very rude emails. The whole point is he does not stand behing his product, and I dont want anymore people to get ripped off by this a**hole. And I surely dont want anyone else to have their vehicle damaged. Scott also sells this on ebay also. His rebuttal to this is he has alot of people who is happy with product, but after I talkled to several people, I found that they had the same problems. Scott has alot of positive feedback comments, but I have found that most of the people who left these comments and have NOT installed units prior to leaving feedback. This guy and his product need to be stopped as soon as possible!!!!!!!!!!
