I purchased a free sample of Hydroderm on the internet. They would only accept credit card payments.. It cost a total of $5.98. I received the product, and on July 16th I received another shipment. They charged my debit card $55.90, I called and canceled,They had me on auto shipment.. So the person I spoke to said that I would be getting another shipment in 3 days. And that my debit card was already charged for that shipment.

I told the person that I wanted to cancel my account. I told them when they received the products back that I wanted a refund sent to me in the mail. I went to the bank and canceled my debit card. So they wouldn't have access to my bank account anymore, At that point I didn't trust them, Since I didn't want automatic shipments, I didn't even have time to see if the product worked..

I was trying to be patient, I called the other day. October 22nd and spoke to someone else and they said their record showed that a refund was sent. The lady said that I would hear back from them at the end of the day.No one called.. My husband said that they scammed me and that I would probably never see my refund.. Just beware if the add pops up for Hydroderm, That they are not a Trustworthy Company. I was taken for a total of $101.80

I work for Hydroderm and have read the comments on this board and would like to make a suggestion that will save you all time and money: Read everything on the cart page before purchasing. In fact, this is a good policy for any online purchasing, whether it be from Hydroderm or any place else.

On the Hydroderm cart page (the page where you enter your credit card number), it is clearly stated that, after the 14-day free trial, the consumer will be sent a full-sized bottle of Hydroderm and will be billed automatically for it. Here is the exact language that is clearly displayed on the website:

Enroll now and get a Free 14 day supply of Hydroderm. If you are enjoying the product, do nothing, and in 18 days we will send you a full one month supply of Hydroderm (after the completion of the your trial). We'll bill your credit card automatically for the members' only special price of $49.95 (+ $5.95 for shipping and handling). As a trial member to Hydroderm regular shipments program you are not obligated to continue. Even if you decide to cancel, please keep the FREE trial as our gift to you. No commitments, no hassles. Cancel anytime.

I realize that it can be a pain to read through all of the print on a cart page, but I can assure you that this is clearly written right above the button where you click "Check Out" which finishes your transaction. If you just pay attention to all the details, you will not feel "ripped off." I think that it is unfair to blame a company because the consumer is not reading all the provided information - that is the consumer's oversight and not the company's. Personally and professionally, it is always a good rule to read everything on a page before entering your credit card number.
