Complaint Review: Hydroluxe

Hydroluxe New Beauty TodayHealthy Eye The company advertised a trial sample for $6.00, then sent 2 products and charged my credit card $99 US for one and $89 US for another that I hadn't ordered. Their claim is that I subscribed for their product. I was never asked to confirm terms and conditions, this was merely an asumption. This company perpetrated this scam and changes it's name when too many people get wise. The product does not contain the ingredients advertised and is, frankly awful. Your credit card company won't be helpful because these scammers know how to work the scam. Miami FLORIDA

 I bought a trial sample of Hydroluxe Ultimate Moisturizer for $6 and unwittingly subscribed to receive the moisturizer at a price of $99 US and another product at a price of $89 US monthly. It wasn't until I received the second delivery of these (utterly awful) products that I became aware that by accepting the "trial", I had signed up for a subscription. This is so clearly a scam and although my credit card company (BMO Mastercard) was sympathetic they won't do anything to help me recover the $600 I have been charged by these frauds. This company, I've learned, simply sets up a web address, scams until they can't anymore and resurfaces under a new name. Don't buy skincare online. I feel like I've been had by a "Nigerian Princess". I'm embarrassed. Don't be me.
