Actually, I did not allow them to do anything to me. I am glad I have enough sense not to believe things like this.
I always suspect people or organizations who ask for money first. I am also glad that I looked their name up on Google just to make sure.
I always check the people out first. I know what contests I have entered, and that if I won anything it would come from those companies.
These people are paying for lists of people who have entered contest and sending these award notifications to them. (This is the SCAM).
They are sure they will get enough people to believe if they are people who enter a lot of contests. There will not be any refunds for your $20.00.
I have received several of these letters, each with a different person's signature and title. Just throw it away when you receive one.
