Complaint Review: I-deal Direct

I completed offers from their sponsors, like AOL, RealRhapsody, Netflix, etc. in order to get a gift card from Bed, Bath & Beyond and they never sent the card. I contacted them after four weeks of waiting to get a response about the approval of my account and they then told me I had to forward proof from the sponsors that I had participated.

I did this (sent order numbers, customer numbers, etc.) and was then told my proof wasn't good enough and I had to forward my confirmation e-mails from the sponsors to i-deal direct. I hadn't read about this "proof" process anywhere on their site and wasn't aware that it fell on me, the consumer, to provide the confirmation e-mails. I did it and was subsequently told that my confirmations weren't complete and they named a sponsor from whom I hadn't even signed up with as the contigent offer that was holding up my processing.

This has gone on for two months now and I finally got a response from them stating that my account was closed in December and they will not fulfill their agreement!
I guess it was two hours of my time wasted signing up for these offers to get nothing that was promised to me from I Deal Direct.
