I ordered a Hatchery Manual from this company off of their website and paid by credit card. I waited a few weeks after not recieving the manual and sent an email through their website and never got a responce. I then checked my PayPal account to see if my funds had cleared their account and they had. I then called the business number listed on their website and spoke to Jan Sipe on the phone. I introduced myself and politley explained that I had not recieved the Hatchery Manual that I had ordered.
Jan then told me that she was out of them but had called there printer to send more to her so she could in turn forward it to me. I thanked her for her help and then inquired about possiblly ordering some fingerlings in the near future. She said that she would wait until I ordered the fish to send the manual. I said that it was going to be 3-4 weeks before I could place a fish order and to please go ahead and get the manual to me first. I also ask her to email me explaining when I could expect the manual, I never got any type of email, snail mail, cell phone, text....nothing from her. I have even sent her numerious messages through her own website and still I have had NO RESPONCE!
During our breif phone conversation she had said that they we're in the process of moving to Tampa Florida next to the Skyway Bridge. I motorhome to Florida many times a year, sounds like stopping by their local court house will be in order on the next trip. Why can't people just be honest? These are not young people and by looking at their web site you would think that they are proffesionals. I guess I was wrong. I have filed a case through PayPal as well. Stay away from this company. I have had great sucess with ordering tilapia from (((competitor's name redacted)))
sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
