I received a call (1-773-341-7019) from Jennifer who said that I was approved for a loan of $5000 from US Trust Loans. I was informed by her that in order to complete the transaction, I had to show proof of "good faith" by providing them with an Amazon gift card in the amount of $250. I declined the initial offer, but I kept receiving phone calls from her and then later from Jack (no last name). I got the Amazon gift card in the amount of $250, but then I was informed that I had to get an additional Amazon gift card in the amount of $325 because I had a low credit score. After acquiring the gift cards, I was then told by the "loan officer" David White that I had to pay an additional $200 for processing fees. He even went as far as saying that he would put in $100 out of his own pocket to help me. I told him no thanks, just refund the money that I had already put into this scam.

I was contacted by the same people, and I must say, I have never been so frustrated and pissed off on than I have ever been in my life talking on a phone. I wish I saw this before what I did, I think I got scammed. I needed a loan for $1500, and all I had to do was show proof I can make $250 a month. I was told to go get a Walmart gift card. I knew it was fishy, but I need the money desperately at the time. So it took me three tries but finally got the right card. The person who I was talking to, David White, is the most non professional person I have ever talked to. He told me to get one card, I told him I got it, and then he tells me it is the wrong card. Instead of taking responsibility of what he did he just started getting mad at me. Well so I got the card and later he told me the $1500 and the $250 will be in my account in 30-45 min. So I waited an hour. I called asking about the money and he told me that now I needed to go back to Walmart and get a Walmart gift card for $375. It was because I got a low credit score and the government is blocking them to give me the money. I needed $375 to remove the block. I didn't agree to it so he offered to pay the $375 himself and I'll just repay him. So I said sure. He told me the money will be in my account that night or the next morning. Still no money. How did you get your money back? And did you get the loan you needed?
