I received a phone call on a public holiday in South Africa, yesterday 16 June 2011. Ronnie phoned me from the USA New York office and said that I have been chosen to be in the Stanford Who's Who directory. She got my details from Linked-in. She did a whole interview with me and then started of saying that it will cost me USD700 which is a lot of money because I get paid in ZAR. I said to her it is too much she then knocked the price down to USD100 for a year subsciption. She even asked for my bank details. Which I unfortunately supplied.

I had an uneasy feeling about this the whole evening and decided to look on the internet and see if I am right to be suspicious and guess what I was right.

I was not the only one this happened to in exactly the same fashion. Could some one please put a stop to this!
