I went to this school from may 2010-april 2011 and while i was in college i kept feeling like I wasn't learning anything, I was also earning all A's for mediocre work. some teachers were really good but the school itself lies to you about the fact that credits dont transfer to anyshool not owned by CEC aka career educational corporation. The classes are compressed your only recieving 1/4 education per class so your not getting a proper education in which i didn't find out until i switched to a comunity college and found out not even gen eds will transfer because their not a legitimat school according to every college I spoke to. Even Parsons and FIDM told me that the college text books for fashion design are not to be permitted for use for IADT because their not a legit school where is Parsons and FIDM is a legitimate college for Fashion design,. there is also Columbia and SAIC that offer legit education in fashion keeping in mind SAIC focuses on draping and accessories.

IADT is maintained by hype and what they tell students and you literally need to become a license detective to find out what their about, something a normal student should not have to do. \they pay a fee to US govt keeping their specialized credentials that do not apply to real colleges, Most companies wont even acknowledge you and you will be overlooked for employment because of the lack of education needed to secure a job in your filed of work. IADT does not give full disclosure about the education recieved, nor the fact that employment us genurally gained by instructors connections with industry field.

I have designed more clothes and did my own work just educating myself with the Parson's and FIDM profesional books I picked up while attending IADT then I actually learned while in attendance. I lost 30,000 dollars for 1 yr and I will never be able to get a degree anywhere because the govt loans are swallowed up by IADT's bogus education. I wish their was a way to file a lawsuit against them.
