Complaint Review: IADT Orlando

I just read reports about IADT and was shocked that there was someone actually backing them. I was a teacher at IADT Orlando for 3 years. The programs are written by part time teachers, some who do not have a degree in the field they are teaching (ex. - Fashion Design teaching Interior Design, Graphic Design teaching Interior Design or Fashion Design). It was said that the teachers have a degree plus experience - more than half JUST graduated from IADT. So where did they get there experience. They are teaching because dept heads promise them a job teaching because they are $@* kissers. As far as their accreditation - the Interior Design program failed their CIDA miserably. One reason is because the dept head can't even pass the NCIDQ exam. Its not the students fault - they are just telling CIDA what they have and have not learned from these "experienced" teachers. I have 15 years experience - but to the dept head - I am just a know it all who won't pass a student to "keep the numbers". Dept heads go against teacher grades so often that the students are just hurting themselves and not getting the education from the "experienced" teachers.
I also have a student loan - look into the Smart loan with Sallie Mae - they have realy helped me.
