I went on the internet and found a free anti-virus download that was supposedly sponsored by Symantec. I clicked on it and without my knowledge, I was redirected to IB-Softwares and was told to download the software. At the end of the download, there was a charge of $57.73 which was placed on my credit card by them. I didn't have my credit card with me and did not input any credit card information before or during the download, because the download was "free".

I immediately called my credit card company and told them that I didn't want that charge on my account. Then I called Symantec or at least I thought it was Symantec, about the charge. They said they did not know who IB-Softwares was. I got online and got IB-Softwares telephone number and called them. I was told they would take the charge off my credit card. Then, when my bill came in the charge was there.

I have called my credit card company and IB-Softwares several times over the past four months to get this problem resolved. My credit card company has removed the charge twice and placed it back on my account twice. I have contested it and it still won't be removed from my credit card account.

IB-Softwares said that they don't do refunds, but they offered me a virus scan for $29.90. I told them I didn't want their virus scan. They sent me a link to download it and I never downloaded it. Now I am out $29.90 for something I don't want and didn't use.

These SOBs should be sued in a class action case. Lawyers please call me.
