Sadly, I enrolled in ICDC's Homeland Security program. After applying for and receiving a very expensive student loan I was told by ICDC representatives that I would "get a very high paying job in homeland security". Several weeks and thousands of dollars later, the job leads I have had are for minimum wage security guard jobs. In addition, the instruction was not taught by, as ICDC advertises,. "industry experts". I had 4 different instructors in just the first 3 months. Three of them were either fired or quit. The 4th one had no security experience and listed her qualifications on her online bio as "personal trainer, real estate agent, and mother of an 'energetic' 4 year old. What a joke. Also, over 50% of my original classmates dropped out.

Save your money and go to a real college.

If that were a lazy 4 year old, I would of tossed that resume in the bin. But since there "energetic," I'll be lookin into hiring that b**** for the first corporate spot I have available.

I worked for ICDC as an instructor for a short time in their Culver City and Huntington Park offices. They are con artists and scammers. The Homeland Security classes are a total ripoff. You pay thousands of dollars to get a MINIMUM WAGE guard job. I recommend that anyone who wants to be in law enforcement to go to a COMMUNITY COLLEGE like El Camino or Rio Hondo. Get a real education from legitimate educators. Saty away from scammers like ICDC and Everest and all the other for profit crooks.
