The Icing Agency promotes business on Instagram. Owner Mary Seats. I hired the Icing agency to rebrand and market my women apparel brand. Initially she was very anxious for me to money wire her $9500 to do the job. I paid her through wire and PayPal. She emailed me a contract which was really represented as a flyer and not a contract.
As business went along and I requested changes to the work she did Mary became very combative and defensive. There were products that were purchased by her that I never got and she opened up my website for launch. None of the changes I requested to be done were completed and I have no products. I explained to her she’s hurting my brand, and there was no professionalism.
I did not get a professional plan of action and other contractual agreements. I asked her for a refund but she refused. According to the BBB she is using the same identity as another agency called Z Mars Design located in Lewisville KY. Icing Agency is not a legitimate company. The other company that is doing the work has 13 unresolved complaints with the BBB.
