Complaint Review: Idaho Mountain Touring

Idaho Mountain Touring False Advertising - not what I ordered. Boise, Idaho

Idaho Mountain Touring sells energy bars on their website - Clif bars, to be exact - for what looks like a good deal. It isn't. They advertise them for $139-1.69 per box. They show a picture of the box. Down below it says there are 12 bars in a box. But if you order 6 boxes, you will get 6 individual bars. They come not in a cardboard box as advertised, but little individual wrappers.

Idaho Mountain Touring will send you 1/12 of what you pay for if you order from their website.

The company could certainly have done a better job by showing a picture of a bar instead of a box, but the item is called a 'bar' not a 'box full of bars' and there is no way you really thought you were going to get a box of 12 bars for $1.69.  That's just silly.
I think you are just trying to get something for nothing.
