IDCServco is a distributor for hundreds of sales companies/independent contractors selling copier toner (maybe other products as well).  They misrepresent themselves as the service contractor on your office equipment sell you a discounted program for your toner (which in our case was included in our REAL service contract)., i.e., if you buy a certain quantity now you will save X amount of dollars than your current method... as a result they estimated our toner use @ 100 times the amount that we normally use.

This is how it works....being the Service oriented samaritans that they are, they extend the courtesy of a phone call every month to let you know that, "per your contract", which by the way, does not exist, they will be "releasing" the next shipment of toner and we should receive it in a few days, accepting that conversation as their "authorization" to charge $781.00 for 4 cartridges of toner.  Not being an office equipment expert, and by not looking at our supply or contract, the oblivious recipient of that "courtesy" call, thanks them for the call and their "excellent" customer service, and goes back to what they were doing.

I probably only need two cartridges a year.  I now have twenty cartridges and our bookkeeper just kept paying the invoices not knowing better ... we are the proud owner of about $4000 worth of toner we couldn't use in this lifetime.

The selling agent for IDC is Century Imaging Systems who is probably contracted by IDC to initiate the ripoff scam.  Probably a bunch of independent work-from-home contractors who get paid a  commission on bambooziling unknowing purchasing agents.

Would love to know what recourse we might have ...
