Identity Theft Protection Support is a SCHAM!! DO NOT TRUST them! Los Angeles California
I too was totally ripped off by Identity Theft Protection Support company. I was applying for a payday loan through Last Chance Cash Advance and for not clicking the tiny box and not reading the very small print at the bottom of website, they automatically withdrew $31.98 from my checking account within two days.
My personal and banking information was given to a trust site that I have dealt with before, so I was not concerned about it. I have used payday loan advances before. I was denied the loan from Last Chance and I did not continue any further.
As soon as I noticed the withdrawal on my account, I called the 866 number next to the transaction. The phone call lead me to a website. And there in plain sight is a link stating "if you are visiting this site because of an unauthorized charge on your bank statement, click here." I click the link where one is given three options. I used all three. With calm assertiveness and presistance with the live chat person. I was given another 866 number to a live person. Spoke with a representative and her supervisor and their response to my demand of my money back was "it is stated in the terms and conditions that the transaction was non-refundable."
My reply was that this type of action was not acceptable and irresposible and that I would be writing a letter to their company's president and to Consumer Affairs.
Do not trust these people!
