Complaint Review: IDONLOCK

I saw that 29.95 was withdrawn from my account 12/11/08. I finally tracked down the company information, "IDONLOCK.COM". I opened their website to find out who they are, since I had never heard of them before. I called the customer service number and spoke to a guy who said his name was James Burgandy (sounds phony). I told him that I absolutely had never heard of their company and definately DID NOT authorize them to withdraw any funds from my account.

He said that my information was obtained online when I attempted get a loan with a company. He said that in order to be able to get a loan with the company I applied with, they set me up on their program and all he can do now is "cancel my service" so that there are no further charges.

There should have never been a charge to begin with and I told him I wanted my money back. He said they cannot return the payment, since I filled out an application for a loan. I just don't get that whole explanation.

I called my bank and advised them that this is a withdrawal that I did not authorize. I will have to go to the bank to fill out paperwork to have it removed and they will investigate this.

Bottom line this is just another low life company ripping off people!
