IDS Cellular MCi Worldcom Wireless ripoff billing, lousy no coverage

I received my phone, in December of 2001 and could not activate my voice mail. I was also given two numbers and had to call to find out which one was mine, since neither of them was in my area. On top of that, I had no knowledge of my personal "home" calling area, and was not given instructions on how to use my phone features.

I called repeatedly and finally received a map of my coverage area a month after receiving my phone. The home coverage area, "covered" everywhere in the state EXCEPT where I live! I called to find out what was going on, and was told.."As long as the phone does not say "roaming", you are NOT ROAMING."

Little did I know, I was being charged $.65 per minute ROAMING FEES! This bill is in dispute, and I have an attorney poised and ready to strike! This company, and I use the term loosley, is a ridiculous misuse of what most people have come to know as a "necessity".

I questioned the supervisor as to a home office complaint department, and was given a P.O. Box to write to, and NOT a phone number. These people should be very happy that they don't give out their street address, or they would all probably have egg on their cars upon departing the building.
