#3Consumer Suggestion

Wed, July 23, 2003

Discussing the legalities of your business transaction is far beyond anything, I could comment on, regarding Australian laws. In these United States prostitution is illegal, in nearly all States. I will assume this is NOT prostitution, and am unaware of the product or products you purchased. This consumer suggestion is not all inclusive or exhaustive, and is in no form, legal advice. This is not intented to supplement an International Lawyer's consultation or law enforcement of any kind.

Now in concerning the web site, it is accessible and contact information is reasonable, considering the nature of the business. Just to play it safe, I will share this contact information: The formal Registrant is: Intimate Friends Network (IFRIENDS4-DOM), address: 7765 Lake Worth Road, Suite 341, Lake Worth, FL, 33467, US. Domain name: IFRIENDS.COM, Administrative contact and Technical: Web Power, Inc. (WH60-ORG) hostmaster@webpower.com, Web Power, Inc. address: 3918 Via Poinciana Ste 4, Lake Worth, FL, 33467-2991, US, Phone: 561-963-9005, FAX: 561-963-9007. This record will expire at the end of this year: September 22, 2003. With the nature of this business, I suggest that you not procrastinate, because they might not necessarily renew this license information. "Network Solutions reserves the right to modify this information at any time."

You paid with a credit card, Master Card, you stated, so consider calling your "Payment Dispute Department", which is commonly linked through the same number to report theft. Examine your billing statement thoroughly, and find that number. Do not procrastinate in canceling that card or simply changing the number. By the time you receive this information, I hope you have already completed this task. Most cards offer 24 hour service, not sure what your options are in Australia. If this is a real Rip-off Report.

You can contact them directly at their site, and ask for a refund, if you have not done so, try for the record.

The amount of money taken out of your credit card is unknown, and the exact services purchased are also unclear. When dealing with your credit card company PRODUCT SPECIFICATION is mandatory. You must also request that refund directly yourself first for some credit card companies. If this is something illegal; dude I just don't know what to tell you. If downloads, videos or other monetary purchases were made, you MUST state and prove exactly what was purchased.

Network Solutions was the source of contact information, you might forward this information to your credit card company, and or use this in order to collect your refund.

Hope this helps and be careful out there. ;)
