I brought on-line the Wind Storm Vaccum on 10/23/2005, I received an automatic confirmation #: 2005102310271612.

I called Customer Service at 1-800-716-8667 and an answering machine asked me for options, the system can't help me because my order didn't have my phone number, because order was made online. I tried to contact a live customer representative and after 15 minutes waiting time the system hang-up. I did get someone after numerous attempts on different days and hours on the 23rd of November, who told me that the items would be sent on the following Monday and I would receive them before Christmas.

I also sent e-mails to their customercare@igia.com, but I never received any replies during November on the status of my vacumn and steamer. It is the 19th of December and still no items. I contacted them by phone again and was hung-up after a waiting period of telling me how busy they are and to contact them at their email for faster response which I did without any reply.

I filed a complaint with the BBB in New York and find that these people have been in court before and fined. This time I hope they serve hard time in prison for cheating hard working US taxpayers.

I was contacted by the BBB of New York State, who is handling my case on the 7th of February, 2006. I gave them the company's website address and customer service number. I also gave them all the complaints on Ripoffreport.com associated with this company. I received a letter from Windstorm dated 9th of February, 2006 stating that they will refund my $150.22 shortly. Why they did not just send the refund in this letter is beyond me. I am still waiting. They left a customer service number 1-800-709-2216. My credit card statement for this month doe not show any refund. I will keep you posted.
