IGIA I bought a sweeper from TV. They took money from my account but I have no sweeper and or no refund ripoff New York New York

I bought a sweeper from IGIA (an informercial) on Nov. 16, 2005. When ordering by phone the process is confusing. I ordered 2 sweepers. 1 sweeper for 3 payments of 39.95 and shipping, the second sweeper I was to pay for shipping 18.95.When my bank statement came in, IGIA took out $255.25. on November 23, 2005. I was told I ordered 3 sweepers so I canceled one. They were to refund 99.00.

I have called them several times and they would say the sweepers are being shipped out in 5 days and the refund would be in 5 days. In March I called and IGIA said they didn't make enough of the sweepers so would I prefer refund. I agreed to the refund of 255.25. They sent me a letter in June 2006 and said the refund would be deposited soon.

I wrote and told them to send the refund in the mail because I closed the account that they took it from. They in turn sent me another letter and said they needed proof of the deduction so I sent another letter and a copy of my bank statement. I have heard nothing from them.

When I call IGIA, I wait on hold for awhile then I am transfered to another number and I an always cut off. I have talked to no one since March 2006.
