IGIA - Igia.com Non existant customer service, EXTREMELY slow on fulfillment of orders... Ripoff! New York New York

Ordered Air-O-Sage deluxe on January 14, 2005. As of today (March 24, 2005), I still haven't received this yet.

At one point in time, website stated to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery - now I can't find that statement anywhere on the site.

E-mailed customer service several times, got no response. Tried contacting through their web-form, still no response. Attempted calling customer service - every instance resulted in one of the following pre-recorded excuses ... "Currently, our offices are closed, call back during normal business hours" (this was WELL within "normal business hour" range) all other attempts resulted in "due to an overwhelming call volume, call our customer service department at our fulfillment center at 1-800-711-8357".

Actually was able to get through to that number twice. First time I waited 47 minutes to speak to someone (who has time for this?!) and that person said their department only handles the warranties and they have nothing to do with shipping.

Called the 8357 number again today and I was told that they have absolutely NOTHING to do with IGIA and they can't understand why they are getting thousands of calls that are for IGIA!!!

I had ordered from IGIA in the past and had no problems at all. So what exactly is the problem now?! I noticed that there are numerous posts on this site regarding IGIA - and for most it seems, their experience had been much MUCH worse than my own - at least money hasn't been taken out of my account for the order yet.

I received a response from IGIA today via E-mail; which stated that THEY cancelled my order due to "a huge backorder".
