Complaint Review: IGIA

IGIA, lazer Storm Vacuum, RIP-OFF they have my MONEY and the crappy returned vacuum! I am getting GRAY HAIR waiting on hold for them to answer their phone Los Angeles California

I ordered a lazer storm vacuum from a tetevision commercial 0n5/6/05. the advertised delivery time was 4-6 weeks. after several calls and PROMISES I received the vacuum on 8/9/05, 3 months after ordered. The vacuum was really useless! the vacuum head fell off every time I made a turn, I has to DUCT TAPE it on and after a very short time the TINY filter clogged up and the suction was greatly diminished. The filter would have to be cleaned and even then it didn't clean up well. I also could barely push the vacuum on any high pile carpet! I was so disappointed in the product I returned it at my expense on 8/28/05. my original invoice number was #046138. With the return I sent a letter stating I thought the vacuum was falsely advertised.

To date, 3/8/06 I have not had my credit credited with the purchase price. I have made numerous calls to the company 800 number only to wait on hold for usually 30-40 minutes, most of the time I had to hang up because I couldn't spend any more time on hold! On january 9th,2006 out of frustration I held on and after 35 minutes someone finally answered. I immediately demanded to speak to a supervisor! They tried to tell me no one was available but I kept yelling at them! They probably thought they had a psycho on the line, but I finally did get a supervisor,named Lisa. I tried to get a direct number to call if back if necessary but NO CAN DO! She assured me they would credit my visa card with-in one week. However, it is 3/8/06 and there is still no credit. Last week I tried again to call and after 45 minutes has to give up to go to work. Today I was going to go to their web address, customercare@IGIA.com, although I have had no response from them in the past. That is when I found this web site and felt compelled to make a report. Hopefully someday we can get this company put out of bussiness!
