Complaint Review: ILD Teleservices

I was speaking with my local phone company about a new long distance service when she directed my attention to the last page of my bill which had a charge of $31.75 from ILD Teleservices, Inc. I had no idea it was even there. I called the 800 number provided on the bill and the gentleman there gave me another 800 number to call.

When I contacted them, the girl told me that my husband had approved this service two months earlier. I knew better. My husband doesn't speak to ANYONE concerning our phones or any other office matters. She said they recorded their calls so I told her to play me anything at all with his voice on it. She put me on hold for about 4 minutes. When she (Hazel) came back on the line she said they cancelled the service for me and would credit my account within 30-60 days. She also gave a Cancellation number.

I then asked her where she was located. She told me she was in the Philippines.
