My wife and I were going over our itemized phone bill with ATT after noticing our bill was quite a bit higher than usual. We noticed 2 different fees we had no knowledge of. One was for $16.00 billed on behalf of Net WatchISP.com. The other was for $13.86 billed on behalf of United Communications Link. We were very upset to say the least for being charged these fees on 3rd party billings.

We called the 1-800-433-4518 # and found out that they are a company called ILD Teleservices,Inc. I asked them why I was billed $16.00 and could never understand what was going on except I had done an online survey and been charged the 16 bucks on my phone bill. The lady I spoke with gave me another # to call (1-866-569-0448) and maybe get the information I was looking for. I spoke to a woman there and got the monthly $16.00 bill stopped. However, I got stuck paying the 16 bucks that was on my bill with no reinbursment. I yet again called a toll free # (1-888-293-3724) to find out about the $13.86 billing. I found out it was a company called Enhanced Services Billing, Inc. They said I had ordered a voice mail service over the internet. I informed the lady I HAD NOT ordered voice mail and not only that but I already had voice mail service through my phone company. She told me that I had been billed for this for the past 4 months. I had no idea I was being billed this for so long. I finally got it stopped and was told I would be reinburst $51.80 plus tax through credit with ATT. Maybe I will!!! I think it is terrible that companys like this can rip off whomever they choose just by surfing the internet. I am disabled and my wife and I live on a very tight budget. I wish there was something that could be done. I know it has to be againest the law. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I think ATT could even do something to help stop this crap maybe by screening their billing process. I noticed I wasn't the only one to get scammed by these a__holes. So, come on people, lets stick together and do what we can to stop this crap from happening. Thanks for listening, Stanley
