On a business trip I attempted to call 2 numbers both which I was not connected to.
Using the phone less than 2 minutes my Visa was charged $84.37.
I am attempting to have the charges reversed but with my investigation of this company (See cut and pasted items from their website) they have broken all regulations:

In order to protect consumers from unauthorized, deceptive or ambiguous charges on their telephone bills, ILD Telecommunications, Inc. has adopted and agreed to be bound by the following Consumer Protection Standards of Practice developed by the Coalition to Ensure Responsible Billing (CERB).
a)ILD will not knowingly provide billing for services employing the following practices: iii) 800 pay per call. iv)Phantom billing (charging for calls never made or services never provided).

Seems to me CEO Michael F. Lewis should be in jail.
As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since the Company's inception in 1996, Mike Lewis founded and now oversees all corporate and board functions across ILD and is responsible for the overall vision and direction of the Company. Mike has grown ILD from an operator services company to a $100 million dollar business process outsourcing and conferencing leader.
