ILD Teleservices - Websites Online ripoff fraud, unauthorized billing on Verizon statement, ignoring cancellation requests Knoxville Tennessee
An unusually obnoxious phone solicitor convinced me to just look at their website, telling me if I told them within 30 days I wasn't interested that there would be no charges. I was looking for an additional website so I consented.
A Confirmation Letter arrived two weeks after its 3/2/06 date. I called the number to cancel on 3/21 & left a message. I also emailed. It bounced. Then I noticed that two letters in their email address were transposed, deliberately I'm sure. The second email went through. No reply.
Charges for two months- $102.90 -showed up on my Verizon bill! Verizon would not stop the charges but did credit them to my next bill, on which yet another $52.95 charge appeared. Verizon removed that and said they would block any further charges.It is scumbags like this that create difficulties for legitimate internet businesses.
