Complaint Review: Ilona Panchyshyn

 I recently contacted Indigo Cattery in NY and had decided to purchase a kitten.

I was coersed into sending a deposit of $2000 for that kitten and a second that I had not intended to buy but was talked into it.

The breeder told me that I needed to send the money that day even tho I had not received pedigrees or health reports.

Ilona Panchyshyn, the breeder told me that she was having other people coming to see kittens that day and if I didnt send the money she would sell the kittens to them.

I sent the money but after having my situation change I advised her that I  probably could not get the kittens.

I asked for time to see what I could do but the next thing I knew, she had re listed them on her web site as available even though she had my money.

 She later told me that she would hold the money and that I could get a new contract stating that I would be purchasing a kitten the future and that the $2000 would go toward getting a future kitten.

I told her that I really wanted my money back but she refused.

I have tried to contact her daily for the past two weeks and she ignores me.

I would have no problem gettin a kitten in the future but at this point I believe that she is a rip off.
