Ilovecheapcars.com ripoff - dishonest - will not stand behind their cars - lied about the condition of the car Tulsa Oklahoma
My wife and I went to this outfits lot on E 193rd ave in Tulsa to purchase a used car for our daughter. They also have a lot on Memorial Drive in Tulsa. We looked at several vehicles and settles on a 93' Pontiac Grand Am. We were told by the salesman that this was an excellant running vehicle with low mileage. We ended up actually paying almost $1000 more than the retail value of the car but felt it was worth it due to the low mileage.
We never even got the car home. It broke down the first time 10 miles from the used car lot and we continued to have ignition problems all weekend. When we contacted the dealer we were told that their mechanic was on National Guard Duty and would not be available for a couple of weeks so we took the car to a repair station near our home. The vehicle ended up requiring replacement of both solenoids, all of the ignition wires and plugs and the ignition moduleand the bill came to $816.00.
ILoveCheapCars refuses to reimburse us for the repairs. They say we bought the car "AS IS" and any verbal statements made by their salesman are non-binding.
I would never do business with this company again and I urge everyone to avoid doing business with them.

Its true they do have a service department and we called them we experienced problems and were told the service dept. was away for 2 weeks on national guard duty. Get it, the whole service dept. Evidently consists of one guy who was away.
I did not have time to wait.
The facts remain the same ... we paid top dollar for a vehicle which ended up having severe problems and could not wait to have CheapCars get around to fixing the vehicle.
If they are so reputable why not offer to put our car in another garage if their mechanic was not available?
Talk is cheap and so was the vehicle we got stuck with.
If they are such a reputable firm the owner could have at least contacted us to discuss the situation but he was never heard from until now. Of course its easy to hide behind emails.
Make your own decision but we will never do business with this firm again.

Steve and His daughter drove our car THREE times before buying it! Steve contacted us AFTER He supposedly had $800.00 worth of work done.
We have a full service department and have fixed several of our customers cars! Why wouldnt Steve contact us first so we could enter the vehicle into our service department? Although Steve suggest He contacted the dealership His statement is simply not true. We would never turn someone away from our service department.
WE SELL GREAT CARS AT LOW PRICES! AND IF YOU MIGHT HAVE A PROBLEM AFTER YOU BUY....
SIMPLY CONTACT US FIRST SO WE CAN HELP, NOT AFTER YOU GET THE WORK DONE WITH NO PROOF!
ILOVECHEAPCARS.COM IS A HIGHLY REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP... RATED AWESOME WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BEAREAU.
ALSO STEVE TURNED US IN TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BEAREAU AND THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA WHICH BOTH PLACES TOOK ILOVECHEAPCARS.COM'S SIDE ON THIS ISSUE!
