Complaint Review: MCI WorldCom

WorldCom resells other phone carriers, ATT, cingular and verizon. I dont run into many people that complain about the phone reception and the phones themselves.

If your phone breaks its generally your fault, always always always take out the insurance. Dont ever try and get a free phone because you can get a good deal on a quality phone when you first sign up.

If you are recieving bills every 3 to 4 months and they are only sending you the details for the current month. for example you get a bill for $200 and the statement says current charges $50 and previous balance $150, but it only gives the detailed billing for the current charges.

This is a breach of contrat on Wcoms part. If you have your contract detailed billing should be checked of as one of your features.

When they fail to provide you with this its a breach ofcontract on there part.

When you call in to customer service, ask to speak to someone with more authority,a team lead, superviser, manager, senior manager, director,anyone.

Dont let them tell you that they are all in a meeting. someone will be around. Get this persons name and direct line.

Regular customer service reps probably get paid 5 bucks an hour, which is more than they deserve, but the point is that they dont care about you and your problems, they do there 8 hours and go home.
If your sales rep is still with the company call him, get his managers number. People with more authority can get things done very fast.

IF your phone is already cut off and you are under contract they will keep charging you your monthly fee.

Call and cancel and refuse to pay the early termnation fee. I know several people that gotten that waived.

As soon as i get some direct phone numbers of the people that are getting rich from this ill post them, so that everyone can call them and give them a good piece of there mind.
