WARNING!!! DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY!

They have ripped off sooooo many adults and parents with kids!

I used to work for them, all they do is want to "sell" everyone who walks in a photo-class-showcase package for thousands!!!!!!

i quit because i could not be a part of the scam any longer. i went home sick many times after seeing some of the people they "signed" and shelene laughing after they left. i couldn't sleep!

I personally witnessed Shelene and Nicole laughing about selling clients that were so unattractive and them just saying, "let's see if they have a credit card."

Barbara Cameron is a has been no money earning talent agent, who's the mom of another has been kirk cameron. she got connected with shelene who is very good at what she does, scamming naive people into thinking they will be big time models. most of the credits they post are bogus or just extra work that any idiot can get hired for, you make a big $60. you don't need to pay this scam to get extra work. just go to central casting. For agents, just go to www.sag.com.

i can't beleive they're still in business. they put ads all over the place seeking out the next sucker. they are not an agency, not legit.

don't beleive their lies, they're very convincing, i've seen them in action.

hopefully, this site can warn others.

if you do get scammed, report them to the los angeles city attorney's office consumer protection section. they are an unlicensed advance fee talent service. their contracts are illegal. you can get a refund. they will help you.

Shelene Bryan has been engaging in this scam for years...

I was defrauded by Shelene Bryan in the same manner as the postings above approximately 12 years ago, when I was a young college student looking for a way to pay my bills. I take the time to write this post now to demonstrate that Shelene is a professional scam artist who has been engaged in scamming the public not only recently, but for many years.

I responded to an ad in the Daily Bruin (UCLA's college newspaper) and was told to appear for an interview. This was when Shelene's office was located near the Red Robin off the 101 freeway in Thousand Oaks. I met Shelene, who went on and on about how she worked with Candace and Kirk Cameron and their mother Barbara, and how she could get me lots of acting work. She had pictures of the Camerons all over the office too. Then she had me do a commercial 'audition'. Although my 'audition' was poor by anyone's standards, she immediately said that she would like to sign me.

She advised that I would have to get headshots with her colleague, which I would have to pay for, and that she would then represent me by sending me for auditions. Looking back, I should have known it was a scam right away based on her intense sales pitch, the immediate signing of me even after my subpar audition, and the requirement to get headshots with her photographer. That and the credit card terminal machine right on the receptionist's desk. But I was a naive, inexperienced college student who believed Shelene's very convicing lies. Who doesn't want to be told that they are pretty and talented and will easily find work? She preyed on the vulnerability of young college girls -- this woman knew exactly what she was doing.

Needless to say, I used my student loans to pay for her fees and for the photographer. I never got the headshots by the way -- just a contact sheet and negatives. Soon thereafter, I received a letter from Shelene, which I remember almost verbatim. It stated that as many of us clients knew, she was pregnant, and due to complications in her pregnancy, the agency would now be closed. (By the way, I had never heard from her or her receptionist that she was pregnant.) There was no referral to another agency who would be handling her clients, or any further instructions. That was it, goodbye. Amazingly, even though Shelene apparently went on to re-establish this 'business,' I never heard from her again.

Linda, I have friends who have nearly fallen victim to the situation you have described. I am a freelance journalist and would like to interview you -- using anonymity if you prefer -- on an article exposing this company's methods so that we may warn innocent actors in this city. Is there any way we can arrange an interview? Thank you!

have you been ripped off by any of these criminals?

Nicole Sutton-Master Scammer!
Barbara Cameron-'Has Been' Scammer!
Shelene Bryan-Bimbo Scammer!

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

File a complaint with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office-Consumer Protection Dept. and-or...

File a dispute with your credit card company. Enclose copies of the Rip Off Reports to make your case stick.

Also, please file complaints on this site, maybe we can stop others from being taken like we were. Hopefully, they're going down, it's about time.

They charge $350 for "marketing" you for work, $1,000 for a portfolio and another $1,000 for classes.

I got nothing from this company!
