Imagine Credit Card My account was opened to boost credit rating and was in good standing. They closed it after 2 years due to economy credit crunch but this will hurt my credit. Atlanta, Georgia
I read someone's posting on Imagine Credit card so I thought I would post too. Yes, they have suddenly closed a lot of customer's accounts with no explanation other than a letter stating that a) your account is closed b) you will still pay in full and c) they will still charge you a monthly maintenance fee. Unfortunately, people who have this card signed up for it, paying the extra $9.95 per month, in order to build or repair credit. Now everyone's credit report will show their Imagine account as "closed by lender" and with a balance on it, and this will damage your credit. I don't know where to file a complaint, but I'm looking into it. I wonder if we can get a class action lawsuit against them?

I have filed complaints : Better Business Bureau, www.ftc.gov. Yeah, I know they can do this, but they should not market one thing and then do the polar opposite.
