Complaint Review: Imagine You new

On 01/18/13, I purchased 2 Groupon spa packages from Imagine You New for myself and a friend.  We FINALLY got an appt made. They rarely answer their phone and when my friend's husband went there in person during the day to make the appt for us, they sent him away and told him "you have to call to make an appt". 

We called Groupon to register a complaint and we finally got the appt made via email.  We went for the package on 05/02/13. They sold us another package at that visit (shame on us!!!) for $99 each - we both bought one.

We scheduled the 2nd appt for 07/17/13 at 5 pm. Katy called us at 3 pm on 07/17 and told us they didn't have staff there to handle our appt and rescheduled us for 08/23/13 at 5 pm. We arrived on 08/23 at 4:50 pm and were told by Bianca Cypser, who said she is the owner, that she "didn't know why Katy had scheduled us for 5 pm on a Friday when they close at 5 pm on Friday and Katy doesn't work here any longer".

She still had four staff members there, but she REFUSED to ask any of them to stay.  She REFUSED to give us our money back because "she couldn't research it on the computer at the front desk".  My friend asked her if she could write us a check or go to the bank, or send one of her employees to the bank to get the money for our refund.  She REFUSED all of those options.  She also DECLINED to give us any type of complimentary service in exchange for us keeping the package and just adding it to it. She wrote down our addresses and ASSURED us she would mail us each a check for our money on Tuesday, 08/27/2013.  Neither of us has received a check to date, 9/1/13!!!

I have the documentation of the groupon purchase, the receipt and original certificate from 05/02/13.  On our bank statement, it lists the business name as Complexions Day Spa in Gulfport, FL.  Only a sham needs two different business names!!

 At the least, she owes each of us the cost of the packages, $99 each.  She also owes us an apology, which she never offered one time during the whole exchange on 08/23/13. 

Shame on us for giving her business a second chance.  She's a charlatan.

In my research, I've found others who have had this same experience.  This is a BONA FIDE RIPOFF ARTIST!!  I have reported her to Groupon and written reviews all over the internet in an effort to warn people about this place and person.

She can submit all the rebuttals she wants.  She's a liar and a scam artist and it's not slander (of which she accused someone else) when it's true!!!

She's also NOT REGISTERED WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.  Wonder why?
