IMI - Innovative Management Inc - Zach Dunn, Sara Carl, Duke & Dan Long Scam, Brainwash, Misleading Tempe Arizona
Like so many others, I was lured into this scam by a very brief craigslist add requesting motivated individuals to call. I was set up for an interview the same day and instead of filling out any relevant paperwork, I was given a sheet requesting personal information. During this first 5 minute interview I was informed that they would be doing callbacks for their second interview. After going over my customer service background a bit I was invited to come back for the second interview without my required callback.
When I arrived at the second interview I was put in a conference room with 17 others while Zach Dunn went over his bs about the money we would all be making. Our 10-13 week training course was supposed to consist of 2-9 days of marketing training during which we were required to make a total of 50 sales, a week to a week and a half of administrative training followed by our management training.
He continued to say that during our training period we would be receiving base pay of $600 per week or $30k per year. On top of this promised paycheck we were told that we would enjoy 4 weeks of paid vacation per year, as well as 4 weeks of "mandatory paid vacation" per year. Zach went on to tell about the companies many all inclusive vacations to locations such as Jamaica and Cabo where we would enjoy everything on the company dime.
At the end of this second interview we were pulled aside in groups of 2-3 and told whether or not we were hired. Several of us were invited to start the next day, as part of their "jump start" program which was intended to get the most motivated of the group off and going through training as quickly as possible. One thing I noticed during the duration of this second interview, is that at no point did we fill out any relevant paperwork, instead we filled out a sheet giving all of our personal information such as address, car make, model, license plate number and ssn.
Our actual training began on a Thursday during which Zach once again did what he does best filling everyone full of whatever they wanted to hear. After a good 2 hours of listening, the class is then informed that they will have a chance to make some money. Dan Long the C.E.O of the company has put up $1000 for a competition, $500 for 1st, $300 for 2nd, and $200 for 3rd but only if the group comes up with 150 sales.
After the group which was now 11 inevitably failed the 2 with the most sales were given $100 each out of "Zach's pocket." Together the 2 had 50 sales, which would come to a total of $1000 profit for Zach and Sarah, of course he's going to have no problem pulling out $200 to boost morale and keep everyone interested.
After this competition we were told that we would get a "second chance" to get our 50 sales for the training course over the weekend. After a few sales I began to look into the company and It's "employees." On the Better Business Bureau website World Werfume is known also as Bayside Enterprises, D&D enterprises, Horizon Unlimited, Protege Marketing Group, New Dimensions, and Silver Stone Enterprise. None of these companies are BBB accredited, and IMI has received an F for their rating. Notice also that the management is labeled as Ms. Sara Carl.

When I caught on and attempted to get my money back I was told I would need to come back at the end of the day due to their funds being in "an account." Finally after calling them about 3 times the same day I was called in to get my refund.
This company is complete BS! They clearly don't give anything that they are promising. All these rebutals that are in the companies favor and are likely Zach, Sarah, Courtney, Duke or Dan himself, stating that the people who catch on to this scam just didn't have the dedication to cut it.
Here is a copy of the lease agreement for their current location 4515 S Lakeshore Dr Tempe, AZ 85282 stating a delinquent report on 1/15/09 with Sara Carl's name on it.

Why isn't World Perfume, IMI or any of their other names accredited on the BBB?
Well first off not all company's are BBB accredited. FYI you have to pay the BBB to become accredited.
Why do they have an F rating on BBB? (Please keep in mind I'm not asking you about their 1 complaint, I realize that many companies have complaints, but they aren't rated F!)
The reason they have an F is probably because they didnt resolve the matter in a timely manner.
Why do they change their office more than once a year?

Why do they change their phone number once a month?

Why do Zach Dunn and Sarah Carl live in a crappy house that isn't theirs, and drive a crappy car that also isn't theirs?
Sara did have her own truck, I don't know what happened. So I cant answer this one. And as far as housing, no idea. In Houston they had a beautiful home.
Why is Zach Dunn associated with 3 different companies, none of which file annual reports?
Because he is associated with the other offices he opens. He gets the commission off of them...you would know that if you knew what you were asking !
Why did someone get walked out when asking where the HQ was?

You know you ask all these questions but yet if you were intelligent you would know these answers. First off, you dont even know how BBB works but yet you assume you do and use it against them. I have dealt with BBB and set up the company I work for with them. They charge ALOT to be accredited by them.
I left for personal issues, I raise my neice not as if any of this is your concern. I had to put someone first. And this company has no room for family until you get up there.
Didnt have an office, I ran that one. Hired, fired, trained etc.

Once again you are the only person defending this company, and you just keep going on about how we "couldn't cut it" but you haven't actually given responses for the valid points that I am pointing out. Lets give it one more try, I'll list them out and you answer.

Last one I know this has to be rough for you. If IMI is a multi-billion dollar organization like Zach Dunn says, and they really do have $10 million just for their Phoenix expansion, then why pray tell are they in a ratty little half painted suite, and not in an actual office?
I lied, one more...How long did you (Courtney P Rodriguez) work with IMI, what was your "office" address and phone number, and if this is such a sweet deal, why did you quit? Did you possibly find a job that pays more than the steady $600 a week before your team bonus and commission and with your 4 weeks of paid vacation and 4 weeks of mandatory paid vacation to locations such as Jamaica and Cabo.
If you aren't able to answer these questions please don't bother responding as I know exactly what you are going to say "You jamoke's just couldn't handle it and drop enough bottles of perfume yo."

How do you know if someones brainwashed already by these pyramid scams?

Or if they give way to many HIGH FIVES. Or think they have a CAREER by selling fake perfume in the streets.
I know we are all on here trying to get the word out and just help these poor innocent victims. But im sorry to say...ITS TOO LATE! Their brains have already turned to mush.
Sara and Zach have officially programmed them to THINK they have an "AWESOME" "CAREER"... theyve "MOTIVATED" them to put themselves in danger and out on the street "DROPPIN BOTTLES" while making no money and thinking the have a "CAREER".. so just give them a "HIGH FIVE" and let their "JAMOKE" a*s fail in life.

First off, what owner of a company is perfect?
And I can guarantee that you do get an office...you probably just werent that motivated or had what it took so they stuck you in the office to train you more...LOOKING OUT FOR YOU!
And no they do not pay me...I do all this on my own! Like I stated before find me a company that has no complaints...but from jamokes like yall...I mean I bet yall are just STILL sitting around dogging on this company...because you "claim" they screwed you over...but in the longrun you did that to yourself. All of yall are jamokes...if the company was so horribly ran then it would be shut down by now...!! I've been gone for a year and its still running and making money! And with Zach Dunn...I totally agree with what yall say about him yelling and cursing...but he is a good man...very good man! And whatever he does on his free time is his business not yours. Steven you're exactly right! I too worked for IMI. I worked for Zach and Sara last year when there office was over near 48th st and southern. Why did they move offices you ask?! Maybe because we had a huuuge picket over there and actually got the news out there and the spot was getting too hot for them. They move every year or so...from state to state(im surprised theyre still in az)...they change theyre phone number every month...OH, and they sure dont own a house! In fact, theyre living in someone elses house waaaay over in west PHX near 19th ave and indianschool(can you say GHETTO)...but they wont be there for long either. In fact this last year i believe theyve moved about 4 times.
Im so amazed with all the resaerch you've done. I too have done research. Did you know Zach had a few warrents out for his arrest and has pending court dates? He finally got put in jail for a bit. (sara told the employees he was outta town visiting his brother LMAO) You know why he was arrested?! OH YEAH! FOR WRITING BAD CHECKS!! and a DUI!! Well, let me tell you...i worked there for months, hit all of my goals and made it through "training"...wheres my office?! Oh thats right... Zach and Sara dont really give you one. Well, you may get one...but not right after "traning." You'll get one once they know you're forsure brainwashed enough to stay with the scamming lying company.
Why would you even want a so called "career" like this anyways?! So you can go around and lie to people and sell FAKE..yes FAKE perfume in the streets all day and all night for the rest of your life. Thats NOT A CAREER! Or wait...do you wanna be on the move all the time so the IRS doesnt catch up with you(and believe me THEY WILL!)...and never own your own house...and have to set up temp offices just for two weeks so you can make some money to put gas in your crappy car and get to the next state then tell all your employees that you'll be mailing them theyre checks but really you send bad ones?!! That doesnt sound very LEGIT or fun to me.
Theres no reason anyone should be on this sight looking up theyre company they work for if its a legit place. AND Zach, Sara, Cortney, Duke, Dan, Whoever...shouldnt be on here feeling they have to defend themselves...so why do they do it?! Oh yeah cuz theres hundreds of reports on all types of websites against them and similar companies. And they know its all true.
So, go with your gut! If you work for IMI or one like it...Please just get out while you still can. I was brainwashed to think i belong there...it took me awhile to get out...but now im so glad it did. The only reason im on here typing away is cuz im trying to help people. I have no reason to waste my time on here because im "bitter"...IMI didnt fire me...i quit them!

Every morning they have the people that fall for it walking in with handfulls of cash since they don't take credit cards, because they aren't real. Now if they are a legitimate operation then why do they change offices every year and don't fill out any annual reports? That's not really the way that operations should work. Another point is that you are the only one defending this corporation Courtney, in one of the other posts they state that a Courtney answered the phone. You were probably one fortunate enough to get in on the back end of the scam with Duke and Alissa, do they pay you to look up these reports and file rebuttals?

Like I stated in T-Rex's report, yall just couldnt cut it. You weren't even there for a significant amount of time. What not even a week? You don't even know the inside, I mean you got your refund, so what are you complaining about. What company carries cash in the office, sure there are some but not many. And on the BBB sure they had a complaint but if you had scrolled down then you might of noticed that it was resolved. Please name me one company that doesnt have at least one complaint. I know of more with many more than one. They have been running that office for awhile but yet only one complaint. What is your opinion on that? I mean who are you to come onto RipoffReport and state all this bogus info, if you werent even there but for a week. Now clearly you couldnt of found all that fake dirt in such little time. All you did was look at all the upset jamoke employees reports, and took there details. So please move on and dont make this company look bad.
