Impact Computers, Sent Incorrect Part, Returned the Part, Still Will Not Issue Refund Hollywood Florida
I ordered a power supply from them. The description on the website was the same part number as the one I needed, so I ordered it. When I got the power supply, it was not the same one I needed. I called them. They accused ME of ordering the wrong part and would not take the part back. I explained I ordered it based on their description. I finally got to a manager who agreed to issue a RMA.
I sent the part back to them, at my expense. I even scanned the info on my current power supply and the plugs so they could see it wasn't the same and could find the one I needed. I got an email from them stating they got the part. Later another email stating I was sent the incorrect part. They called me and explained they could not find the part I needed (it's an older part) and they would cancel my order and refund my money.
Well, they refunded $5.40 (the org shipping charge), but not the full amount of $102.37. I emailed them and asked why and they replied it was "according to their policy" I was only refunded $5.40.
So now they have the both the part and my money. Come on. You sent the incorrect part, I sent it back. You said you can't find the part I need. You kept the part and my money.
Don't do business with these people. They steal. I finally went to my credit card company for help. Impact will not even reply to my emails any more.
